Gladio was too stunned to move or speak. Too shocked to feel the same kind of anger that Tony did. What he felt was disbelief. There was no way that he could understand Era's feelings on this. While he hated to be idle, there where things that could be done. A million things that could be done to keep the mind and body occupied. It wasn't like the Voidtrecker where they where trapped in a tin tube with almost 200 other people with no room to breathe. No room to move. That was hell.
But Era was right on one thing. She didn't know what it was like for them. On the train or beyond that. What he did blame her for was trying to glorify murder and suffering as something preferable to sitting quietly now and again.
This whole thing had gone wrong from the start it seemed. Era was supposed to have come here to talk to Tony and for some reason she had decided to talk about another world... That had been a bad move on her part. Slowly Gladio moved and turned on the couch as Era stormed out and left him alone with Tony. Before he could open his mouth, Tony threw the cookies against the door... Gladio held still, watching him carefully, half expecting him to destroy his door again. But when he didn't, Gladio rose to his feet and moved closer.
"Tony..." He called the name, making sure that the other man knew he was there, before he slipped in behind him and wrapped his arms tight about Tony. He pulled him back against his chest. "I've got you."
