CHARACTER INFO
❥ Name: Tony Stark
❥ Canon: MCU- CRAU(VT)
❥ Canon Point: A half a second before he dies in the movies + CRAU
❥ Fandom OC Approval: N/A

❥ History: Who is Iron Man?
❥ CRAU?: -Right as he was snapping his fingers to kill Thanos, Tony was taken from his world and placed on a train known as the Voidtrecker. It traveled between worlds through the Void and the passengers rescued worlds from the edge of destruction.

- The first couple months on the train, Tony was in recovery physically and mentally. He started off needing a wheelchair assistance to get around, which was humbling to say the least. He had terrible nightmares and flashback during this period, often causing full on panic attacks.

- In the months that followed, this became more relaxed and he started leading the train.

- During this time, he met Ignis and a spicy romantic relationship blossomed. Unfortunately, their relationship brought a considerable amount of new issues. The main problem was their age, relationship experience, and their investment in the train politics, but also Tony's guilt over having a new relationship that wasn't with Pepper. It ended as most relationships on the train did- abruptly and with one of the duo walking like a zombie off the train never to be heard from again.

- He had a pattern of adopting children on the train who arrived without parents and needed that extra support. It wasn't every kid and sometimes not even that young of a 'kid' (like Luke Skywalker).

- He drinks too much and the line between alcoholic and high functioning alcoholic is starting to get crossed.

- Recently, the stress of leading the train, the council, a murder trial, constantly losing people, difficult missions, and messing with chemicals in poorly ventilated spaces, he had a pseudo heart attack. He'll be still recovering when he arrives.

❥ Personality: - Gruff
- Very irreverent to people and sarcastic
- Rebellious and refuses to pander or give respect that hasn’t been personally earned
- Challenges every rule put in front of him
- Strongly believes he has a right to know everything
- He can be a gigantic baby and an immature pain in the ass
- Can be very petty and obnoxiously arrogant
- Brilliant and loves the sound of his own voice
- He’s good at heart and cares a lot more about people than he likes to admit.
- Has a deep insecurity about his self-worth left behind when he couldn’t get the love, approval, and affection he needed from his father
- Has a tremendous amount of guilt. He feels guilty about how his family earned their fortunes, how his mistakes have hurt people, how he unintentionally created Ultron, and the list goes on and on.
- There are mental scars that remain from losing Peter and the other people who vanished because of Thanos and nearly dying lost in space.

Post- CRAU Personality changes: - The initial turmoil and grief of existing without his daughter and wife has already happened and has settled as a dull pain and guilt in his mind. He's gone through a whole new relationship since arriving on VT and it ended fairly poorly. He'll have to go through a new bout of grief though, when he realizes he has lost his adopted kids.
(One physical change- While on VT, his scar from the arc reactor left behind on his chest has been healed completely.)

❥ Abilities: - A certified genius
- He has multiple PhD's and is brilliant at engineering and everything involving technology
- His Iron Man suit can fly, shoot lasers of varying kinds, has an AI computer system named F.R.I.D.A.Y. who can analyze certain things for him, and it’s impenetrable which means he can and has.. um.. peed in it.
- His greatest talent is his sarcasm. It’s a skill, don’t let anyone fool you. He thinks he’s hilarious and doesn’t care if you do or not.

CRAU: (Yes, here too) Tony has spent the last six months with little else to do other than tinker on stuff, deal with political responsibilities and physically train. He's gotten very good at hand to hand combat, which he wasn't bad at before coming to VT. He's learned and gotten very skilled at sword fighting too. I headcanon he knew a little before because he's a major dork and probably took fencing in school.

❥ Extras: Would you like your characters abilities nerfed? What would you like them to lose or how will it be cut down? Tony's going to be physically weakened for a while
Did your character bring anything along (limit 3 items) with them? Iron Man suit, EDITH glasses, Iron Man Armor Hall lego set Anxiety Medicine
Which god will they choose to support? Or do you wish to be randomized? Random is fine. Poor god stuck with him.

Sorry, I thought we had to use bullet points and those aren't that good for giving examples and elaborating.

Personality: Tony can be gruff and very irreverent to people. He likes to think of himself as a rebel and refuses to pander or give respect that hasn’t been personally earned. For instance, in the second movie he's seen before the Senate waving to the cameras and making jokes. He then tells them they can't have his Iron Man suit and steals access to their computer system to show evidence that back his argument without asking.

Tony wants to challenge every rule put in front of him and has a strong belief that he should know everything. It's one of the reasons there's friction between Captain America and Tony in the Avengers. Steve wants to believe in the process and follows orders. Tony hacks into the computer system to find out what Fury might be hiding. Sadly, he's been right to be suspicious a number of times.

In addition to being a pain in the ass because of his issues with authority, he can be a big baby about some things. In the second Iron Man movie, Fury has to ground him just to get him to focus on solving a problem with his technology. Even then Tony's rather petty about it and other slights. This might come from his ginormous ego and often insufferable arrogance. He knows he's handsome, brilliant, and a superhero and doesn't let anyone else forget it. He's the epitome of 'extra'. In the second movie, he opens the technology convention with him flying into the stadium, with fireworks, AC/ DC blaring, and being fawned over by the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders. Who does that? Tony. Tony does that.

However, there are other sides to Tony than this obnoxious, pompous dick. He cares so much more about people than he admits. He cares what they think of him, especially his friends. He risks his life over and over again to save people throughout the Iron Man and Avenger movies. He earns the title superhero that he flaunts on his good days. It's a mask though. He doesn't want people to know how weak he feels inside and how damaged he is. His sarcastic jokes, outrageous behavior, flamboyant lifestyle are all distractions so people don't get to know the real him.

Tony has a deep insecurity about his self-worth left behind when he couldn’t get the love, acceptance, and affection he needed from his father. He grew up being a troublemaker and playboy, trying to fill that hole in his heart and it only got worse once his parents were killed. Especially after his failure with creating Ultron, he lives with a tremendous amount of guilt. A woman finds him after a speech at MIT to chew him out for her son being killed because of him. You can see he tries to hide it, but his heart is broken over it. He feels guilty about how his family earned their fortunes, how his mistakes have hurt people, how he unintentionally created Ultron, and the list goes on and on. There are mental scars that run deep from losing Peter and the other people who vanished because of Thanos and nearly dying lost in space.

CRAU: Tony had just managed to save those who had vanished and was in the process of sacrificing himself with the infinity gauntlet to destroy Thanos when he appeared on a train platform. The gauntlet had already been hurting his body and he'd taken quite a beating before that. There had been a high of seeing Peter again and knowing the world would be saved by his very next action, but he was physically and mentally broken when he arrived. Slowly over the next few months he'd slowly healed. He'd bonded with Peter again, so grateful to have the boy he wasn't too proud to consider a son anymore back in his life. As he had in Iron Man 3, Tony experiences panic attacks, PTSD, and flashbacks. Lastly, he struggles with depression at times which sometimes he uses proper medication for and sometimes (frequently) he uses alcohol for. Unlike most people on the train, he has no life to return to. The instant he gets sent back to his home world, he dies. No matter what, he will never see his daughter or his wife again and that haunts him. He'll do fine for a while and then he'll grieve the loss all over again.

However, he did make progress on the train. He found new friends and what he saw as a way to redeem himself for all the mistakes he'd made. Being who he is, he always acted as the leader of the train but eventually simply declared it to be true. He also designed a council and governmental structure as the train population kept growing. This was both a source of pride and stress as he was constantly met with criticism and others being suspicious of his motives.

There were many people who meant a lot to him, but perhaps the most influential was Ignis. No one would've put these two men together and nothing about them made sense. It may be one of the many reasons they didn't last and had a turbulent relationship, but it was also exciting, challenging, and full of love. Tony started it by finding Ignis' stuffy personality highly amusing to pester and tease. Ignis was easy on the eyes and was as far from Pepper was a person could be, which helped some. Before an early mission, Ignis gave Tony his tiny, black skull necklace that the older man wears to this day. During the mission, Ignis was knocked unconscious before he could return safely to the train. When Tony got back to the train and discovered he wasn't back, he immediately went to rescue him.

Unfortunately, the difference in their age and experience both with life and with relationships kept getting in the way. Ignis dreamed of engagement rings and a wedding while Tony didn't like being rushed. He was riddled with guilt and was still in love with Pepper. He also knew Ignis was in love with Noct, which wasn't as much of an issue until the man showed up on the train. Before anything could be fully resolved though, Tony had to watch Ignis walk away like a zombie, like so many others before him, on the next train stop, never to be heard from again.

The next most influential person is actually a cluster of people. These were Tony's kids. After nearly dying from being lost in space, Tony was a stay-at-home dad with Morgan. A younger version of himself would've been horrified at this, but he loved every minute of it. It gave him time to heal and become the dad he always wanted his dad to be. So when he discovered there were children on the train, even one in his assigned room, he naturally assumed that role. Some took to it and others balked at it. Some were actual children and some weren't (like Luke Skywalker got adopted despite being in his twenties). He had two in particular he officially went to the council and announced he was adopting, though there was going to be a third soon. In addition, Peter kept hoping his uncle would show up so didn't want to be adopted in an official since, but everyone including Tony, called him Tony's kid. (Hey, stuff changes when you nearly die, okay?) One of the officially adopted kids was Madoka, a sweet preteen girl who made him a seashell bracelet that he wears all the time. He also coated with a very hard, clear plastic so it won't break, even on missions. So there was never any shortage of baked cookies or candy on the train thanks to this more mature, laid-back, still high functioning alcoholic, great dad, self-proclaimed leader Tony.

AI: FRIDAY (Female Replacement Intelligent Digital Assistant Youth) is the AI of his suit/ computer systems after Jarvis became Ultron and then ultimately Vision. At full capacities, FRIDAY would be able to do the following: function like a highly skilled Alexa (the Amazon feature) that answers questions, sets alarms, does minor duties around the house like a timer or give a measurement of an area in the house; connect with his satellite systems to protect the globe (as seen through Edith in Spiderman FFH); deploy other Iron Man suits to come to his aid; hack into government agencies computer systems; scan people for injuries, toxins, weapons, etc; locate people through GPS, phone tracing, etc; etc etc etc. The FRIDAY I'd be bringing to the game would do the Alexa thing and if I'm allowed, the scanning people for injuries, toxins, and weapons if they are in his house or standing in front of him while he's wearing his suit.

Edith: (Even Dead I'm The Hero) As with FRIDAY, Edith's real value is how it connects to all of his weapons, satellite, and defense systems. Now? They're a smartphone in the shape of sunglasses. It lets him talk to FRIDAY wherever he goes and she can answer questions for him or he can take calls or do some research if internet is a thing here.
