Character Name: Tony Stark
Series: MCU
Character History: Canon Info
CRAU: Right as he was snapping his fingers to kill Thanos, Tony was taken from his world and placed on a train known as the Voidtrecker. It traveled between worlds through the Void and the passengers rescued worlds from the edge of destruction. There have been a number of significant events that have happened during this time that has changed him/ helped him grow since the end of his MCU canon.
The first couple months on the train, Tony was in recovery physically and mentally. He started off needing a wheelchair assistance to get around, which was humbling to say the least. He had terrible nightmares and flashback during this period, often causing full on panic attacks. In the months that followed, this has relaxed and he then started leading the train. Not long after, he met Ignis and their relationship brought a considerable amount of new issues. The main problem was their age, relationship experience, and their investment in the train politics, but also Tony's guilt over having a new relationship that wasn't with Pepper.
He also had a pattern of adopting children on the train who arrived without parents and needed that extra support. It wasn't every kid and sometimes not even that young of a 'kid' (like Luke Skywalker). I'm foreseeing this continuing some. He loves and misses being Morgan's father.
Lastly, he had the near constant stress of being council leader. The pressure had been building but got even worse when a member of the train was murdered and his hands were tied to do hardly anything as retaliation. That stress plus messing around with some chemicals he shouldn't have, led to a pseudo heart attack.
Personality: Tony can be gruff and very irreverent to people. He likes to think of himself as a rebel and refuses to pander or give respect that hasn’t been personally earned. He wants to challenge every rule put in front of him and has a strong belief that he should know everything. He can be a big baby about some things, like Fury having to ground him just to get him to focus on solving a problem with his technology.
However, he’s good at heart and cares a lot more about people than he likes to admit. The thing is, he’s damaged too. He has a deep insecurity about his self-worth left behind when he couldn’t get the love and affection he needed from his father. He also has a tremendous amount of guilt he carries. He feels guilty about how his family earned their fortunes, how his mistakes have hurt people, how he unintentionally created Ultron, and the list goes on and on. There are mental scars that remain from losing Peter and the other people who vanished because of Thanos and nearly dying lost in space.
CRAU: Let us know how their CRAU experiences has changed them. : It definitely has changed him. There has been physical changes, such as he's healed since his battle with Thanos and the scar on his chest where his arc reactor was has gone away. The initial turmoil and grief of existing without his daughter and wife has already happened and has settled as a dull pain and guilt in his mind. He's gone through a whole new relationship since arriving on TV and it ended fairly poorly. He'll have to go through a new bout of grief though, when he realizes he has lost his adopted kids.
Abilities: Tony is a genius. He is brilliant at engineering and everything involving technology. He’s a bit of a mad scientist too when it comes to machines, so it’s entirely possible if he finds enough random pieces, he might build something on the train. His Iron Man suit can fly, shoot lasers of varying kinds, has an AI computer system named F.R.I.D.A.Y. who can analyze certain things for him, and it’s impenetrable which means he can and has.. um.. peed in it.
While he has a whole slew of degrees, his greatest talent is his sarcasm. It’s a skill, don’t let anyone fool you. He thinks he’s hilarious and doesn’t care if you do or not.
CRAU: (Yes, here too) Tony has spent the last six months with little else to do other than tinker on stuff, deal with political responsibilities and physically train. He's gotten very good at hand to hand combat, which he wasn't bad at before coming to VT. He's learned and gotten very skilled at sword fighting too. I headcanon he knew a little before because he's a major dork and probably took fencing in school.
